C-Recycle, or the Centre for Chemical Recycling Education and Research, is a groundbreaking project focused on the transition from a linear to a circular chemical industry in West-Noord-Brabant. This initiative, funded by the Just Transition Fund (JTF), combines innovative chemical recycling techniques with extensive education and training programs to contribute to a sustainable future.
With C-Recycle, we want to strengthen the regional chemical sector by training both professionals and students in the latest chemical recycling technologies. Through practice-oriented research, collaboration between companies and knowledge institutions, and on-the-job training (OJT), we want to create a new generation of experts in chemical recycling. In addition, we focus on awareness and acceptance of chemical recycling in the business community and among the general public.
• For companies: Direct access to the latest chemical recycling technologies such as pyrolysis and solvolysis, through collaboration with top institutions and laboratories. Companies benefit from a trained workforce and can participate in exclusive networking events and conferences. We also support start-ups with workshops, pitch competitions and guidance in writing business plans.
• For students and teachers: A renewed curriculum that integrates the latest innovations in chemical recycling, with a focus on technology and sustainability. Students receive on-the-job training and participate in research projects in the laboratories, preparing them for a career in green chemistry. Teachers and job seekers can participate in specialized trainings and research projects to increase their knowledge.
We invite companies, students, teachers and other interested parties to join C-Recycle and contribute to the transformation of the chemical industry towards a circular future. For more information, please contact us.
